About
Hi, I’m the person behind World3DBlog.
I’ve been 3D printing for over 5 years, running everything from Creality machines to Bambu Lab printers and Elegoo resin setups. Most of what I print falls into three buckets: hobby projects, repairs around the house, and miniatures.
I started this blog because I got tired of reading “best of” lists written by people who clearly never plugged in the printer they were recommending. Everything here comes from actual hands-on experience: printers I’ve owned, filament I’ve run through my own machines, and problems I’ve personally had to troubleshoot at 11pm when a print failed for the third time.
What You’ll Find Here
- Troubleshooting guides for the problems that come up again and again — stringing, warping, bed adhesion, and more
- Filament guides comparing what’s actually worth buying, not just what’s cheapest
- Printer reviews and comparisons, focused on budget and mid-range machines that most hobbyists actually buy
My Setup
Over the years I’ve worked with:
- Creality printers (multiple models)
- Bambu Lab machines
- Elegoo resin printers
This mix means most advice on this site is tested across more than one type of printer and workflow, not just one brand’s ecosystem.
Why Trust This Site
I only recommend things I’ve actually used or thoroughly researched. When a post contains affiliate links (see my Affiliate Disclosure for details), that never changes what I recommend — if a cheaper or free option is better, I’ll say so.
